Our commitments
KLB, a responsible partner
Both on a social and environmental level, we are committed to developing a more responsible company. With the creation of a dedicated CSR function at the beginning of 2023, we have accelerated our approach and our commitments in favour of a transformation that we hope will be sustainable and collective. CSR is a key success factor for our ecosystem: our customers, our partners, our employees and our company.
We thus define and adapt our CSR policy which guides us on a daily basis through numerous concrete actions such as:
Reducing our environmental impact
1
We are all responsible for climate change, each at our own level. In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we have undertaken actions such as creating our climate mural and calculating our company’s carbon footprint. These tools allow us to go even further in our environmental action plan.
Did you know? We have switched to 100% green energy at the KLB headquarters!
Support for associations
3
Signatories of the Global Compact since November 2009, community and solidarity are key qualities within our teams.
As part of this drive, we have set up a skills sponsorship programme, whereby our employees are invited to contribute their knowledge and skills to various associations on one-off missions.
Supported associations:
● Tout le monde contre le cancer
● Pour un sourire d'enfant
● Cité International Universitaire
● Groupe SOS
● Secours Catholique
● Emmaüs
● Zup de Co
● Les restos du cœur
● Seconde Manche
The influence of knowledge in responsible procurement
2
By obtaining the “Relations Fournisseurs et Achats Responsables » label in January 2022, we are the first consulting firm to be certified!
The sole label recognised by the French government for responsible procurement, the RFAR Label is based on the ISO20400 Sustainable Procurement standard. Its goal is to acknowledge the commitment of any company or public operator in:
-
A responsible procurement policy;
-
A desire to drive a process of continuous improvement of its practices.
The RFAR label brings us considerably closer to our ambition: to become a leading ambassador of the Sustainable Procurement approach. With our expertise and areas of intervention, we are able to commit to CSR and support our private and public clients in improving their responsible procurement approaches.
→ Responsible procurement training is available for all employees
→ 100% of our sales and support teams are trained in anti-corruption via TRACE certification
“Every day, we multiply and diversify our CSR actions internally and externally. We firmly believe that strong commitments are essential to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Our employees are the first ambassadors of our approach.
Conscious of the need to constantly adapt to the opportunities and risks inherent to our activity, we have put in place a comprehensive management system. The policies and procedures outlined in this system enable us to ensure the continuous improvement of our practices, to strengthen the safety of all, and also to prioritise respect for the integrity of our clients, suppliers and employees."
Véronique, CSR and indirect procurement manager.
